4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed into 2 tablespoons of cold water
¾ cup water
¼ cup rice wine or apple cider vinegar
½ cup sugar
½ tablespoon salt
Method
Using a blender or food processor, blend the chilli to desired texture.
Using a pan, bring the water, vinegar, salt, sugar, garlic and chilli to a simmer.
Add cornstarch to the mixture, until the sauce has thickened. Do a taste test and add the desired ingredients.
Let the sauce cool before storing in the fridge.
